John "Price" McGiffert, Jr. is a native of Tuscaloosa and currently attends the University of Alabama School of Law where he is pursuing a joint JD/MBA. At Alabama Law, Price serves on the Alabama Law Review, is President of the Bench and Bar Honor Society and a member of the Blackburn Institute.

In May of 2019, Price graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. While in undergraduate school, Price had the privilege of serving the student body as the SGA President. As a senior, Price was awarded the Most Outstanding Senior Award, the National Alumni Association Alumni Student Award, and was tapped into the Jasons Senior Men’s Honorary.

In May of 2015, Price graduated from Tuscaloosa Academy where he was Valedictorian and SGA President.

Price enjoys playing golf, hunting, cheering for Alabama Athletics, and selling things on eBay.
